By NEXT MONDAY, please have your child bring in a plain, white t-shirt to tie dye. We will wear these shirts as we travel to end of the year field trips and participate in end of the year community events. Your child's tie dyed t-shirt will become a fun keepsake from Kindergarten that they may enjoy wearing in the years to come. It is fun to see former students wear their tie dyed t-shirts throughout 1st and 2nd grade.
I am also looking for any parent volunteers that would be willing to donate our necessary tie dyeing kit. For ease in tie dyeing especially with the Kinders' little fingers the Tulip One-Step Tie Dye Kit works best. It includes packages of die and ideal squeeze bottles for dye applicators. The "Super Big" size seems to best accommodate our class size. See the photo below for more information. You can find the kit at Joann's, Hobby Lobby, or Michael's. Please let me know if you are interested. You can certainly use the purchasing of this kit as 30 minutes of volunteer time, or you can submit your receipt to Hannah Rounds and Willowwind can provide you with a charitable donation tax letter. Your help is truly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
