A letter from the students in the Burrowing Owl Class

Dear Parents and Kids,
The Burrowing Owl class is organizing for people that do not have enough money to afford good food. We are collecting it for the River Community Church Food Pantry. We want to help the church help others because they allows use to use their parking lot for events. The food we would like you to bring is anything canned, such as tuna, soup, beans, chili, fruit, vegetables, or anything that is easy to cook. Please bring the food for the Harvest Festival on October 12. you can also bring the food to school anytime between October 8 and October 14. you may put the canned foods in the two bins in the entryway at the front of the school.
