Willowwind friends are gearing up for a busy Friday. Just a few reminders regarding TOMORROW, Friday, April 20th.
~ Bike Rodeo - The students will be participating in a Bike Rodeo during their Movement class with Ms. Christine. Please be sure your child brings a cycle (bicycle, training wheels, tricycle, anything with pedals) and their helmet.
~ Silly Friday - Tomorrow marks the start of Silly Fridays in honor of raising money for the American Cancer Society. To participate your child needs to donate $1 (or more). This Silly Friday is Crazy Day. With a $1 donation students can wear crazy clothing or style their hair in a crazy way. I will be collecting money from those children that choose to participate. Our second Silly Friday (Character Day) will be on May 11th.
Saturday, April 21st is a busy day, too! Willowwind is still in need of parent volunteers for this Saturday's Parent Work Day (from 9:00 - 12:00). If you are interested in helping with the sod removal process please let me know. Our prairie planting window is quickly approaching, and students cannot plant without your adult help in the prepping process. Please see my previous blog post below for more information. What a great way to help further our prairie restoration project while earning volunteer hours.
