Please join us for the Burrowing Owl Café THIS Friday, April 12th from 7:45-8:30 a.m. The café includes breakfast food and drinks that are served at a nominal cost ($0.50 - $1.00) to all PreK through 6th grade Willowwind families.
The café is a one-time fund raising event for the Burrowing Owl class trip on May 20th. This year the students are traveling to the Neal Smith National Wildlife Refuge located near Des Moines, Iowa. This day trip will be a wonderful culmination to their study of Iowa history and prairies. The students will gain first-hand knowledge about the time period when much of the Iowa landscape was open prairie.
Along with providing the funds for our trip, this is a great school-wide community building event, so bring the entire family and join us for an hour of great food and socializing! Thanks in advance for your support.
