Willowwind is excited to introduce our re-vamped Library Space!
Thank YOU to our recent Book Fair sales we were able to add in hundreds of new books to our library book shelves.
On a recent Work Day Willowwind parents and students organized the books into subject areas.
Students decorated personalized book place holders (aka wood paint stir sticks).
The Burrowing Owls have established a check in & out routine and use our MacBooks and Google Spreadsheets to inventory the books that come and go.
Now, your child is able to check out and enjoy the books that call our GD Space home.
Before and after school your child is able to check out a book from the GD Space's Library. To help keep track of books, Willowwind friends have decided that the books from these shelves need to stay at school. Please encourage your child to check out books (one at a time) from our library shelves. In doing so, I ask your child to keep this book in their cubby space where it will await our daily Partner Reading and Quiet Reading times. if your child has check out questions encourage them to ask the Owls at the check-out station.
