Pumpkins!

Our Science studies have moved from apples to pumpkins.  We have enjoyed learning about both fruits, their various parts, and how they are similar and different.  In coming weeks, we will begin to focus on the pumpkin's life cycle.  In the meantime, enjoy this picture walk of our pumpkin activities.  Ask your child about our pumpkin lessons and the similarities and differences between the two fruits.

Also, please be sure to read the following Halloween blog posts on upcoming activities and pumpkin needs for a school wide project.  Kindergarteners are in need of bringing in a medium-sized pumpkin by Friday, October 24th.
