Important Volunteer Opportunities

Dear Parents,

Volunteer opportunities have presented themselves in the Cottontail classroom. See below for more information and let me know if you are interested in helping out.

Class Quilt
The students are deep in their fabric study. As we continue our investigation of study I am eager to begin work on the Kindergarten class's annual class quilt. I am in need of a parent volunteer that can help with simple machine sewing of students' squares, batting, and fabric backing. Please let me know if you are able to help with the assembly of our quilt. Your sewing expertise is greatly needed!

Authors' Cocoa Baked Goods
One dozen baked goods are still needed for this Friday's event. Please use THIS link to sign up if you are interested in bringing in homemade or store-bought goods. Remember, this can count towards 30 minutes of volunteer hours. Thanks in advance!

Spanish ABC Book Assembly
Ms. Danielle would like some help copying and binding Spanish ABC / Handwriting books. Students will complete these during the final months of school as they expand their Spanish vocabulary and develop their handwriting skills. The copying and sorting would take about thirty minutes and the binding would likely take 1- 2 hours with the school's plastic-binder machine. All materials would be provided. Please contact Danielle if you could help with this anytime before Spring Break: daniellee@willowwind.org.
